The Piarulli Vini ed Olio company has been located since the early 1950s in Corato (BA) and is about 9 km from the UNESCO site of Castel del Monte. In the cellar, which boasts a total capacity of about 50,000 hectoliters, a team of experts follows the production of native wines, combining winemaking traditions with modern technologies.

The business of winemaking and the sale of the bulk product is accompanied by the trade of extra virgin olive oil obtained in part from the family's olive groves. Wine and oil, together with other foods made in Puglia, are made available to the customer within the company store.

The company store, located in the heart of the winery, is the most recent building. In about 60 square meters all the wines produced on the farm (red, rosé, white) are offered, which can be purchased in bulk, as well as a selection of the most prestigious Italian bottled wines. There are also gastronomic delicacies of the area such as extra virgin olive oil obtained from the “coratina” cultivar, vegetables in oil, taralli, pasta, jams and much more.


To best satisfy every type of request and need, the Piarulli family offers the opportunity to savor and taste most of the products on sale by guiding the customer in the choice of their purchases.

Visits to the Cellar

The Piarulli company welcomes guests from all over the world by organizing, on request, guided tours and tastings available throughout the year. Visitors are guided on a tour to discover all the curiosities and secrets related to the history of the winery, the processing of grapes and the production of wine. The full immersion in the company reality (which includes a visit to both the original nucleus with the typical Apulian trullo construction and rooms completely made of stone, and the new work areas) is followed by a tasting of different wines accompanied by specialties of the Apulian culinary tradition.
